Behind the Lens
Visual Storyteller · Est. 2019
"A photograph should feel like a memory before you've even forgotten the moment."
Marco started shooting with a borrowed DSLR in his college dorm at DLSU-Manila. What began as a way to document campus life quietly became a calling he couldn't ignore. By his second year, he was shooting campus events for free just to learn — and realized that capturing genuine human emotion was the only work that felt truly worthwhile.
After graduation, he spent five years assisting Makati's most sought-after wedding photographers — learning on-the-job what no classroom could teach: how to be invisible at the right moment, how to read a room, and how to trust your instincts when the light changes in an instant. In 2019, he founded LensWork. Since then, he has photographed over 300 weddings across the Philippines.
Marco believes every frame should carry emotion first and technique second. The camera is just a tool — what matters is being present enough to see the moment before it disappears.

What We Believe In
Every session is a story waiting to be found. We don't just set up shots — we observe, wait, and capture what's real. The best photographs are the ones where the subject forgot we were there.
We obsess over light — its quality, direction, and how it falls on a face. Whether we're working with golden hour or fixing harsh overhead gym lighting at an event, light is always the first conversation.
There's no preset formula here. We take time before every wedding to understand who you are as a couple — your story, your quirks, what makes you laugh — so the photos actually look like you.
